Marty Velasco founded Fitness Edge in 1998. He is an ACE certified personal trainer and sports performance coach through USA Weightlifting. He specializes in helping clients make a positive change in their life, no matter how old they are, or what shape they’re currently in. His training style provides an experience that empowers, motivates, and inspires you to never give up! Marty is also a black belt in tae kwon do and has extensive experience working with children and adults.
Steve Chalkwater is our Program Coordinator. He handles all of our new member inquiries, and enrollment procedures. Steve is also a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has over 20 years of experience in martial arts, kickboxing, and fitness education. You can find Steve teaching our bootcamp class Tuesday nights from 6:15-7pm and also working with our small group training clients most evenings during the week.
Erica is our admin assistant and payroll specialist. She is in charge of helping things go smoothly behind the scenes at Fitness Edge. She can also be seen from time to time in our mid morning bootcamp classes!
Kesha Sweatte is a certified group fitness Instructor and personal trainer through AFAA and enjoys a good ‘ole fashion workout that gets the blood pumping.
She is a fitness enthusiast who likes motivating people to achieve their fitness goals. Kesha is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology and welcomes every opportunity to kick some butts!

Brenda is a certified personal trainer and and specializes in working with members in our small group training program. You can see her at Fitness Edge Monday and Wednesday evenings, and Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
